The Beatrice Weston Unit for the Advancement of Students
The counselors at the Unit for the Advancement of Students provide personalized support services to students facing academic or emotional problems. The counselors help them to identify sources of distress and advise them to find efficient ways to cope with the academic requirements.
Our highly experienced staff members offer a breadth of expertise and experience. The team is comprised of professionals from the fields of educational counseling, learning disabilities, social work and psychology.
Contents of all therapy sessions are discreet and address the student’s specific problems and concerns. In addition, the Unit also initiates and manages a number of programs promoting equal opportunities for students from Israel’s periphery, students from ultra-Orthodox communities, and Arab students, in order to facilitate their adjustment to the Technion. These programs include both emotional and academic support.
